• 100 mg of testosterone decanoate.

Sustanon 250 is not the only testosterone mix with this ester, drugs like Omnadren and Aratest also contain the ester.

Testosterone decanoate

The decanoate ester is one of the longest esters used in steroids, its half-life being more than 2 weeks. Such a half-life makes testosterone decanoate activity last for almost a month! This is why people often think of Sustanon 250 as a monthly drug, but this is true only when it comes to HRT due to its peak activity being reached in less than 2 weeks.

This means that in about 2 weeks the testosterone level will begin to drop, which is problematic for bodybuilders that need to maintain the stable level of the hormone in the bloodstream. So, the decanoate ester allows bodybuilders to inject Sustanon 250 once a week.

The decanoate ester is also known as capric acid, decanoic acid and non-carboxylic acid.

Sustanon 100

The name itself suggests that Sustanon 100 is a lower dosage version of Sustanon 250 (100 mg instead of 250 mg). Sustanon 100 is basically the same as the 250 one, with only two exceptions. First, its dosage is lower than that of Sustanon 250. Second, in contains only 3 essential testosterone kinds instead of 5, and their rate is as follows:

• Testosterone propionate – 20 mg;
• Testosterone phenylpropionate – 40 mg;
• Testosterone isocaproate – 40 mg.

The basic active agent of Sustanon 100 is the same as Sustanon 250, so benefits and side effects are the same as well. The only difference when it comes to the asteroid’s activity is the duration, while dosages are about the same, as are the injection rates.

Still, this version of the drug is much less popular among bodybuilders and is rarely used.

Side effects of Sustanon 250

Sustanon 250 produces the same side effects as other steroids based on testosterone. However, the side effects of Sustanon 250 are milder due to the equal activity of various esters.

Effects like fluid retention and gynecomastia are common as testosterone converts into estrogen. Such effects can be combated with anti-estrogens of the aromatase inhibitor group or selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). Nolvadex and Proviron can be used to avoid side effects associated with estrogen.

The steroid is considered “watery”, so it’s mainly used for mass gain and almost never as a pre-competitive drug. Thus, it’s better to combine Sustanon 250 with Anadrol or Dianabol than to exceed the dosages to achieve more significant and quick effects.

Still, some people combine Sustanon 250 with steroids for cutting like trenbolone or Winstrol to attain tougher and better defined muscles.
